Armenia

Landlocked in the South Caucasus between Europe and Asia, Armenia sits at a cultural crossroads bordered by Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan, yet retains a character entirely its own. Shaped by dramatic mountain scenery and deep-rooted history, it is one of the world’s oldest Christian nations, home to ancient monasteries perched on cliffs and beside serene lakes, including Sevanavank overlooking Lake Sevan. In the capital, Yerevan, café culture, Soviet-era architecture and lively markets create an inviting, contemporary energy set against the backdrop of Mount Ararat. Beyond the city, winding roads reveal forested valleys, vineyard-covered hills and centuries-old stone carvings that speak to a resilient heritage. Compact yet richly layered, Armenia offers an immersive journey through culture, cuisine and landscapes that feel both timeless and undiscovered.
