Music lovers can enjoy the Dubai Jazz festival.

If you love your sport, both the Dubai Desert Classic (Golf) and Dubai Tennis Championships is held this month.

March

Beginning of the shoulder season before the temperature begins to heat up so a great time to visit to get some pre-summer sunshine.

Art Dubai is the Middle Easts’ leading international art fair held in March.

The Dubai World Cup is the richest horse race in the world bringing some of the top equine thoroughbreds from around the globe to race under lights.

Those that love food can enjoy Taste of Dubai held at Media City. Some of the worlds best chefs will prepare food, give tips and presentations.

April

If you enjoy the heat but still have your limits, this could be the one of the best times of the year. Temperatures could get up to mid-30s but nothing like what’s to follow.

May

It’s starting to get really hot now. If you’re travelling this time of year make sure you’re booking hotels with good air conditioning.

June

Humidity will drop from the extremes of summer but is still quite high when comparing to the UK. Thankfully the extreme heat will begin to drop to more acceptable levels and the water is a perfect temperature. The shoulder season before tourists begin to flood back so you may be able to get yourself a bargain.

November

The start of the peak season but there may be still the odd deal around if you look around.

A great time to visit with perfectly comfortable sunny conditions and very low rainfall.

The Dubai Rugby 7’s is a tournament played in November/December and is known to be a lively party atmosphere for those who want to enjoy some elite rugby union action.

December

Peak season is in full swing now with tourists escaping colder climates for the perfect winter conditions of Dubai where temperatures get up to early 20’s.

Celebrated on the 2nd of December each year, Dubai’s national day festival is an annual day of celebration to commemorate the Emirates’ independence from Great Britain with special events held around the city.
