With a history that can be traced more than a thousand years, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Tallinn is a quaint and pleasant step back in time. Estonia’s capital city may not be large, but it is brimming with enticing highlights with its preserved medieval architecture and charmingly effervescent character.

Set off on foot across the cobbled streets of the Old Town to admire the buildings dated around the 11th and 15th century and the striking Viru Gate, before dropping into one of the many cosy cafes and restaurants serving hearty locally-inspired cuisine.
